"The students really enjoyed coming up with something to give up and the community was very generous in participating in the campaign.
It created a positive energy throughout the school and ties into character development and education. If your school has a breakfast program it is a fantastic fundraiser. If your school does not have one, it highlights the importance of helping others."

In Live Free @ School, each child makes a pledge to Live Free of something that they take for granted each day and donates a Toonie to the campaign. All dollars raised go to supporting your student nutrition program.

In 2011, students challenged themselves to give up treats such as candy, playing video games, their computer, chocolate or watching their favourite TV show.
